It's Over WHAT Happened? WHY? Judging Vehicles Winners Profiles

PROFILES

This year's show sported license plates from far and wide.
From Elliot Lake in northern Ontario... his 10 hour trip was rewarded with a trophy.
A beautiful "FIREbird" flew in on a Trans Am recently ... from Alberta. From Nova Scotia... this truck hauled home 2 trophies.
From upstate New York... this fellow braved a heightened alert state when crossing the border and went home with a trophy.

We had everything from daily drivers to trailered vehicles.

This fellow uses this truck everyday in his paving business.

This truck got a ride home.

We had high mileage and low mileage.

Would you believe 1.2 MILLION miles on this 1999?
I kid you not.

Only 18 miles on this 2005 mustang "restored" like the 1969 he owned as a kid.

The talent of the judges ranked right up there.

This rat rod with its Lincoln V12 is the brain child of one of this year's judges.

We saved the best for last.

PRESENTING
the
AUTOMOTION 2009 GRAND CHAMPION

-- and what a champion it is --

Wait 'til you see what's under wraps!
TaDaaa!   The trophy is taller than the car.
All this work - from restoring and modifying the body, to the upholstery, to the paint, was done over a 3 year period by the owner himself, in his spare time in his own garage. Talk about talent! He could quit his day job!
