AUTOMOTION

2014 PROFILES

Even though this year's show was a tribute to the
MUSTANG's 50th ANNIVERSARY,
(see the 2014 Recap for an overview),
we sure got to see a whole lot more.

This year's sidewalk art ???
You guessed it - a tribute to the Mustang - of course !

Hope you stopped to talk to the artist, 3D CHALK GUY , Guy Wales.

This year's show welcomed everything from this 1968 Chrysler 300 from Toronto to this 2005 Mustang from Sorel-Tracy, QC.
but wait a minute...

This year also set a record ---
This 1966 Fury III came all the way from Peace River, Alberta.

How 'bout that !

We learned that SIZE does matter...
if you are looking for shade !
or looking to slip through a crowd !

We even got to see a few rarities...
1 of 869 built !
ONLY 1 in Canada !
ONLY 1 - PERIOD !

The police figured it out.

It looks like something you might see in the movies.

Oh - right - you did see it in the movies.

Remember...TRANSFORMERS III ???

Does this look like a 2003 Avalanche to you ?

Don't forget to look up...

... and down.

This is a product of Remi's imagination and years of experience as a body man at a GMC dealership.

The recipe ???
Start with a 4000 lb. 2003 Avalanche.
Add 6000 lbs. of fibreglas,
and an extra axle to hold all that weight.
Now add LED's galore, inside and out,
and don't forget the TV.
Work on it for three years with no drawings and no plans and see what evolves.

The result ???
Something that $85,000 can't buy - that was turned down.
Some Canadian dealers think this could fetch $750,000 in the good ol' U.S. of A. !!!
Not a bad retirement project, eh ?
Oh - excuse me - third retirement project.
This was for Transformers 3. The pictures in the cab were of his creations for Transformers 1 and 2.

You can see why Remi took home a trophy for...
